New research shows that the cost of health insurance for a typical family increases about $100 per month when state governments limit price adjustments based on factors like age, health or risky behaviors such as smoking.
DOVER — Sallie Mae, the giant Reston, Va.-based student lender, will open a major Delaware operation near Stanton, creating 1,100 new jobs in the state by 2011, Gov. Ruth Ann Minner announced today.
Sallie Mae plans to open an operations center in Delaware and inject more than 1,000 jobs into the state, according to sources familiar with the deal. (SLM)
